About 1,300 community members perused Webster Groves High School’s new north wing as part of its ribbon cutting ceremony on Aug. 19.
The celebration began when the Marching Statemen played the Webster Groves “Fight Song.”
The new north wing was made possible by the passage of a $36 million zero-tax-increase bond issue passed by voters in 2010.
Also a group of parents and alumni have raised about $200,000 towards a goal of $300,000 to improve the instructional program.
New Facilities include 12 science classrooms, 12 socialsStudies classrooms, four visual arts Classrooms, five SSD classrooms, three music classrooms with 10 practice rooms and three Industrial Tech Classrooms
