The Eagle Award is presented to the senior who best emulates the criteria of scholarship, leadership, citizenship, character and community service. This year, senior Andrea Kopczynski received this award.

“I believe Andrea is the paradine for an Eagle award winner. She has enormous dignity and compassion,” said English teacher Anne Marie Brewster, who nominated her for the award.

Kopczynski is involved in softball, soccer, the president of National Honors Society, ballet, academic team, Students as Allies, Wellness Committee, Strategic Planning for the Board of Education, Committees for the new hires, and does a lot through her church.

“I’m really grateful for this award,” said Kopczynski. “Everyone else that was nominated deserved it just as much and maybe even more.”

Kopczynski is still unsure which college she wishes to attend. She has narrowed her choices down to Rice University and Washington University.
