With the golf season ending for senior Jordan Thompson, basketball season is just beginning. Basketball is Thompson’s favorite sport, and she believes her best.
Thompson is a three-sport athlete playing golf, basketball and soccer.
She ended her golf career with a impressive resume including a trip to State. Now basketball season is starting up, and she hopes the team can compete.
“I think we got a really good shot this year with all of our talent,” Thompson said.
“With Jordan as our leader, we can accomplish anything,” said junior basketball teammate Abbie Paloucek.
“She can do it all on and off the court,” she said.
Thompson will look to lead the team and for sure break the record for most points scored in a career.
“It would be a great accomplishment in my career, but I am focused on our team doing the best we can,” Thompson said.
Thompson has been a Varsity starter since her freshman year and has progressed each year. She has really taken control of the team and is definitely the go-to-player.
“Whenever we need to make a play, Jordan’s always the one to do it,” said Paloucek.
